What is a headshot and why does it matter?
In most cases, your headshot will be the first material a casting director/manager/agent will see. It’s important that it is a high quality image that looks like your genuine authentic self devoid of heavy makeup and editing. Additionally, through using character based headshots you can increase your chances of being seen for roles requiring specific types. Consider it a helping hand to casting directors who can now visualize you clearer in the roles they are trying to fill. To summarize, type based headshots will literally boost your chances of getting auditions.
A personality shot, also known as a “Lifestyle” shot, is a great way to build up your website and social media presence with photos that express who you are as a person. While headshots require neutral outfits, limited makeup and hair, and character based expressions, personality shots are shamelessly and unabashedly all about you! This can be achieved in a number of different styles that will be specifically catered to suit your desired aesthetic.

My Process:
As an Actor’s Access certified casting director and filmmaker, I will asses your type and take photos that will specifically aid your castability. My sessions are focused on comfort and fun, if you’re camera shy or self conscious, worry not! I will make sure you leave the session with photos you are happy, confident, and excited to use to advance your career.
Prior to your session, I will send you a guide on what to prepare as well as a series of questions that will help me plan and approach the shoot suited to your needs. I look forward to working with you!
